Historically known for computing hardware, Intel has used that position to move into edge computing. While Intel has continued to to develop new processors with edge capabilities such as the Xeon platform, it is also making use of partnerships to bring edge computing platforms to the public, claiming 1,200 partners including Accenture and Verizon.
