A growing list of companies are stopping supply of components to Huawei after the US trade ban was implemented. Several major Japanese and British mobile carriers also said they would delay releasing new Huawei handsets. This is a major blow to Huawei and the Chinese government. It will be interesting to see their response and how intellectual property will be used in the this first major trade war between China and the rest of the world.
