A method for treating a disease caused by P. aeruginosa bacteria, said method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of CBD, or a composition thereof, to a subject in need thereof, wherein said disease caused by P. aeruginosa bacteria is selected from the group consisting of hospital-acquired infection, respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, wound infections, dental and buccal infections, otorhinolaryngologic infections, urological and/or prostatic track infections, gastrointestinal infections, biliary tract infection, eye infections, bacteremia, sepsis, central nervous system infections and endocarditis.
