1. A method for evaluating medical examination results of a patient, the medical examination results including at least one image data set of the patient and at least one examination report written in natural language, the method, performed using a computing device, comprising: (10) (4)

providing a medical ontology including multiple medical concepts occurring in image data sets and examination reports of patients;

analysing the at least one image data set using at least one first analysis algorithm, the at least one first analysis algorithm being an artificial intelligence algorithm, for detection of medical concepts of the medical ontology, and marking the medical concepts detected in a result data structure referring to the medical ontology;

analysing the at least one examination report using at least one second analysis algorithm, the at least one second analysis algorithm being a natural language processing algorithm, for detection of other medical concepts of the medical ontology, and marking the other medical concepts detected in the result data structure; and

providing the result data structure to at least one evaluation application processing medical concepts.

The method of claim 1, wherein the medical ontology is hierarchically structured, wherein at least one of the at least one first analysis algorithm includes multiple first analysis algorithms and the at least one second analysis algorithm includes multiple second analysis algorithms, used at least in part following the hierarchical structure. The method of claim 2, wherein the medical ontology is based on at least one of at least one defined ontology, at least one defined denotation standard, and wherein a mapping from the medical ontology to at least one defined ontology and at least one defined denotation standard is provided. 18. The method of claim 2, wherein first analysis algorithms are provided for at least one of single medical concepts and groups of medical concepts of hierarchically structured medical ontology, and wherein at least one of, (0) (1)

19. The method of claim 2, wherein analysing the examination report using the second analysis algorithm includes feature extraction and detection based on extracted features. (0)

20. The method of claim 2, wherein at least one of the at least one second analysis algorithm is at least one of at least partly rule-based and at least partly artificial intelligence-based. (0)

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the medical ontology is based on at least one of at least one defined ontology, at least one defined denotation standard, and wherein a mapping from the medical ontology to at least one defined ontology and at least one defined denotation standard is provided. (0)

4. The method of claim 1, wherein a convolutional neural network is used as the at least one first analysis algorithm. (1) (0)

5. The method of claim 1, wherein first analysis algorithms are provided for at least one of single medical concepts and groups of medical concepts of hierarchically structured medical ontology, and wherein at least one of, (0) (2)

6. The method of claim 1, wherein analysing the examination report using the second analysis algorithm includes feature extraction and detection based on extracted features. (0)

7. The method of claim 1, wherein at least one of the at least one second analysis algorithm is at least one of at least partly rule-based and at least partly artificial intelligence-based. (0)

The method of claim 1, wherein at least evaluation application is chosen from an interpretation assistance application; at least one of a billing, coding, quality assessment and legal assessment application; at least one of a clinical trial and clinical management application, and a radiological report assistance application.
