1. An Internet of Things (IoT) blockchain interface system comprising: (5) (2)

a processor; and

a computer readable medium storing machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to: receive an event from an IoT gateway at an event stack;

determine whether the event affects a blockchain object based on a context schema;

in response to a determination that the event affects the blockchain object, generate a message blockchain object addressed to the blockchain object; and

deploy the message blockchain object to a blockchain.

2. The system according to claim 1, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (2)

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (1) (1)

store the event in an off-chain storage.

4. The system according to claim 3, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (4)

receive a request to authenticate the event;

generate a hash of the event stored in an off-chain storage;

determine whether the generated hash is the same as the hash stored on the blockchain; and

in response to a determination that the generated hash is the same as the hash stored on the blockchain, attest that the event is authentic.

5. The system according to claim 1, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (2)

6. The system according to claim 1, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (1) (2)

generate a hash of a plurality of events received from the IoT gateway within a certain range of time; and

store the hash of the plurality of events in at least one of an off-chain storage and the blockchain.

7. The system according to claim 6, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (1)

8. The system according to claim 1, wherein the machine-readable instructions to generate a message blockchain object are executed by the processor to: (0) (2)

9. An Internet of Things (IoT) blockchain interface system comprising: (6) (2)

a processor; and

a computer readable medium storing machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to: store a context schema for a blockchain object, wherein the context schema includes a state map describing states of a blockchain object deployed on a blockchain, and a persona list of acceptable personas that can interact with the blockchain object in different states;

receive events including measurements from a plurality of IoT sensors via an IoT gateway at an event stack;

determine whether an event of the events affects the blockchain object based on the context schema;

in response to a determination that the event affects the blockchain object, generate a message blockchain object addressed to the blockchain object on the blockchain; and

deploy the message blockchain object to a blockchain, causing the blockchain object to change from a first state in the state map to a second state in the state map.

10. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (3)

11. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (2) (2)

generate a hash of the event; and

deploy the hash of the event to the blockchain on behalf of an IoT sensor of the plurality of IoT sensors that generated the event.

14. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (2)

15. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions to generate a message blockchain object are executed by the processor to: (0) (2)

16. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions are executed by the processor to: (0) (4)

receive a block update from the blockchain;

determine whether a state of the blockchain object changed in the block update;

in response to a determination that the state of the blockchain object changed, store the change of state in the event stack; and

update the state of the blockchain object in an off-chain storage.

17. The system according to claim 9, wherein the machine-readable instructions to determine whether an event of the events affects the blockchain object based on the context schema comprises machine-readable instructions to: (0) (1)

18. A computer-implemented method comprising: (1) (4)

receiving an event from an IoT device via an IoT gateway at an event stack;

determining whether the event affects a blockchain object based on a context schema;

in response to a determination that the event affects the blockchain object, generating a message blockchain object addressed to the blockchain object; and

deploying the message blockchain object to a blockchain containing the blockchain object.

19. The computer-implemented method according to claim 18 comprising: (1) (2)

generating a hash of the event; and

deploying the hash of the event to the blockchain on behalf of the IoT device.

20. The computer-implemented method according to claim 19 comprising: (0) (4)

storing the event received at the event stack in an off-chain storage. receiving a request to authenticate the event;

generating a hash of the event from the event stored in the off-chain storage;

determining whether the generated hash is the same as the hash deployed on the blockchain; and

in response to a determination that the generated hash is the same as the hash deployed on the blockchain, generating a message attesting that the event is authentic.
