1. A computer program product comprising non-transitory computer executable code embodied in a non-transitory computer readable medium that, when executing on one or more computing devices, performs the steps of: (4) (5)

programmatically receiving a heart rate variability of a user;

programmatically receiving a resting heart rate of the user;

programmatically receiving a sleep quality indicator of the user;

programmatically generating, using a processing module, a recovery indicator of physical recovery of the user based on the heart rate variability, the resting heart rate, and the sleep quality indicator; and

displaying, on a user interface rendered on a visual display device, the recovery indicator.

2. The computer program product of claim 1, wherein the sleep quality indicator is determined using one or more of: a duration of sleep, a level of movement of the user during sleep, and a number of times the user wakes up during sleep. (0)

3. The computer program product of claim 1, wherein the recovery indicator corresponds to a perceived strain of an exercise routine performed by the user, and further comprising code that performs the step of: (0) (1)

4. The computer program product of claim 1, wherein the recovery indicator corresponds to a perceived psychological strain experienced by the user, and further comprising code that performs the step of: (0) (1)

5. The computer program product of claim 1, further comprising code that performs the step of: (2) (1)

displaying, on the user interface, qualitative information on a user's health corresponding to the recovery indicator.

6. The computer program product of claim 5, wherein the qualitative information on the user's health comprises one or more of: (0) (5)

an indication of whether the user has physically recovered from an exercise routine;

an indication of whether the user has psychologically recovered from an exercise routine;

an indication of whether the user requires rest;

an indication of whether the user is prepared for future activity; and

an indication of one or more future alterations to an exercise routine that should be implemented based on one or more health-related goals of the user.

7. The computer program product of claim 5, further comprising code that performs the steps of: (0) (2)

8. A wearable physiological measurement device comprising: (10) (6)

a wearable strap couplable to an appendage of a user configured to monitor and determine a heart rate of the user, the wearable strap including a processing module configured to:

programmatically receive a heart rate variability of the user;

programmatically receive a resting heart rate of the user;

programmatically receive a sleep quality indicator of the user;

programmatically generate a recovery indicator of physical recovery of the user based on the heart rate variability, the resting heart rate, and the sleep quality indicator; and

display, on a user interface rendered on a visual display device, the recovery indicator.

9. The wearable physiological measurement device of claim 8, wherein the sleep quality indicator is determined using one or more of: a duration of sleep, a level of movement of the user during sleep, and a number of times the user wakes up during sleep. (0)

10. The wearable physiological measurement device of claim 8, wherein the recovery indicator corresponds to a perceived strain of an exercise routine performed by the user, and wherein the processing module is further configured to: (0) (1)

11. The wearable physiological measurement device of claim 8, wherein the recovery indicator corresponds to a perceived psychological strain experienced by the user, and wherein the processing module is further configured to: (0) (1)

display, on the user interface, qualitative information on a user's health corresponding to the recovery indicator.

13. The wearable physiological measurement device of claim 12, wherein the qualitative information on the user's health comprises one or more of: (0) (5)

an indication of whether the user has physically recovered from an exercise routine;

an indication of whether the user has psychologically recovered from an exercise routine;

an indication of whether the user requires rest;

an indication of whether the user is prepared for future activity; and

an indication of one or more future alterations to an exercise routine that should be implemented based on one or more health-related goals of the user.
