executing, by operation of a computing device, a game environment having locked content that is inaccessible to a user, the locked content having an association with one or more keys;

receiving, on the computing device, an audio data stream captured from an external environment;

processing the audio data stream to generate a key;

determining that the key matches at least one key of the one or more keys associated with the locked content; and

modifying the game environment to enable access to at least a portion of the locked content in the game environment.

22. The computer-implemented method of claim 21, wherein the locked content is configured to be unlocked through at least one of (i) player achievement of one or more game objectives of the game environment, or (ii) one or more purchase transactions for gaining access to the locked content. (0)

processing the audio data stream to generate a key;

determining that the key matches at least one key of the one or more keys associated with the locked content; and

modifying the game environment to enable access to at least a portion of the locked content in the game environment.

The computer-readable storage medium of claim 29, wherein the locked content is configured to be unlocked through at least one of (i) player achievement of one or more game objectives of the game environment, or (ii) one or more purchase transactions for gaining access to the locked content. a microphone configured to generate audio data based on sounds from an external environment;

wherein the program, when executed by the one or more computer processors, performs an operation comprising: processing audio data received from the microphone to generate a key of the one or more keys;

unlocking at least a portion of the locked content based on the key; and

augmenting gameplay of the game environment based on the portion of the locked content.

38. The computing system of claim 37, wherein the locked content is configured to be unlocked through at least one of (i) player achievement of one or more game objectives of the game environment, or (ii) one or more purchase transactions for gaining access to the locked content. (0)
