Identi-Graphics recently had its first application in the biodegradable packaging sector published. This comes as a surprise as Indenti-Graphics has over 30 years of experience in the flexographic printing industry. Identi-Graphics is involved in the narrow/mid web flexographic industry and specializes in water-based and UV laminations. Additionally, Identi-Graphics prints bar wrappers for the nutritional supplement industry, has high barrier pouches, and a variety of compostable packaging solutions. 

It is unclear what this patent application means for Identi-Graphics' future. Identi-Graphics may be looking to expand its product offerings and trying to position itself ahead of its competitor so we may see more applications in the near future.
