Westrock has partnered with Georgia's original brewery, Atlanta Brewing Co, to provide Westrock's CanCollar product with Atlanta Brewing Co's 6-packs of beer. CanCollar claims to use 95% less plastic than leading alternatives and includes up to 15% recycled content. This will be the first brewery to use Westrock's eco-friendly packaging for their entire collection. 

This partnership shows Westrock's continued commitment to eco-friendly packaging. Westrock had a patent published this week directed towards low density paper and paperboard with two-side coating. The publication appears similar to Westrock's Crescendo® Coated C2S. With 25 documents in the biodegradable packaging since 2018 and over 25 documents directed towards paperboard. Westrock is demonstrating a commitment towards intellectual property, particularly for paperboard.
