GRIDDY is Automating Their Energy and Utility Platform

Energy Financial Settlements Patent Forecast®

December 12, 2019

A new patent application publication by GRIDDY Holdings LLC (GRIDDY) offers some insight relating to the development of an automated utility marketplace platform.

The platform, which includes support for a mobile application and machine learning functionality, seeks to address the need for increased customer transparency when it comes to energy and other utilities. Current systems are slow when it comes to enabling customers to react to changing energy and utility prices. Because of this, transmission distribution service providers (TDSPs) are required to constantly invest in grid infrastructure technologies.

The solution to this issue: give customers more control. Greater customer visibility and power over energy and other utilities would greatly reduce infrastructure spending

GRIDDY Holdings LLC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of GRIDDY LLC. Operating from Houston, TX, GRIDDY enables users to bypass the middleman by connecting users directly to real-time electricity prices and alerts.
