Track160 is a an Israeli sports analytics company founded in 2017. The company uses deep learning techniques to track players in a soccer match, as well as track the ball, without using any body-worn or embedded sensors. The company relies on just 2-3 cameras to cover the playing field, which are mounted at a single point. Track160 has one published patent application for their technology.
While many professional clubs have tracking and analytics systems, Track160 believes they offer affordable skeletal tracking and tactical analytical systems that run on commercial cameras - beneficial for amateur teams and smaller leagues. This edge was a driver for this Series A funding round of $5 million. The round was led by the ADvantage Sports Tech Fund, and also includes the Bundesliga (premier German soccer league), REDDS Capital, and other private investors. Track160 currently serves clubs in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
