PSEG, a major energy company headquartered in Newark NJ, is investing $65 million to purchase two North Carolina solar farms currently under development by BayWa, a German building material company. One is called Five Forks Solar, a 25.9 MW-dc facility in Warren County NC, and the other North Halifax Solar, a 26.9 MW-dc facility in Halifax County NC. Both facilities are expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2019.
