SunPower, headquartered in San Jose CA, announced on 3/5/2019 its A-Series solar panels. They are the first commercial solar panels to exceed 400 watts and come equipped with a microinverter that makes it easy to install on any home or business. Each A-series cell is 65% larger than SunPower's previous X-series cell, leading people to expect lower costs.
