3 Independent Claims

  • 1. A device wearable by or attached to or implanted within a person, comprising: a sensor configured to detect an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal from the brain of the person; and a transducer configured to apply to the brain a low power, substantially non-destructive ultrasound signal.

A method for operating a device wearable by or attached to or implanted within a person, the device including a sensor configured to detect an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal from the brain of the person and a transducer configured to apply to the brain a low power, substantially non-destructive ultrasound signal, comprising: receiving, by the sensor, the EEG signal; and applying to the brain, with the transducer, the ultrasound signal.

An apparatus comprising: a device worn by or attached to or implanted within a person including a sensor configured to detect an electroencephalogram (EEG) signal from the brain of the person and a transducer configured to apply to the brain a low power, substantially non-destructive ultrasound signal,
