A method of obtaining blood pressure data, implemented using an intelligent oscillometric blood pressure measurement device and a second device, wherein the intelligent oscillometric blood pressure measurement device comprises an inflatablecuff, a pressure sensor, and first communication circuitry, and wherein the second device comprises a memory, second communication circuitry, and one or more processors, the method comprising: receiving, by the second device, oscillometric blood pressuredata from the intelligent oscillometric blood pressure measurement device via the first communication circuitry and the second communication circuitry, wherein the oscillometric blood pressure data are obtained from a user using an oscillometric bloodpressure technique, and the oscillometric blood pressure data comprise pressure oscillation data and blood pressure data (2) (1)
