AT&T's key technologies include audio and processing, speech recognition, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text. It has a text-to-speech software called Natural Voices. Natural Voices is a patented software that provides custom voices and languages to text-to-speech applications. AT& T also created Watson which was acquired by speech recognition player Interactions. Watson is a collection of plug-ins that perform analytics tasks in real-time. These tasks include ASR / SV: speech / speaker recognition, spoken language understanding, dialog management, spoken language generation, and text-to-speech synthesis.
