DJI, headquartered in China, is currently the world's top seller of consumer drones, with a global market share of 70%. Its UAVs are most known for aerial photograhy and videography, and their applications range from recreational activities to improving agricultural yield and finding people. DJI has also been paying close attention to, complying with, and contributing to safety regulations. In late 2017, DJI introduced a voluntary flight identification option for drone pilots, and in 2019, expanded its already-existent geofencing technology in light of recent drone incidents in airports.
