NXM, a San Francisco based software company, recently filed their first patent application for network configuration management using a distributed ledger. While the edge computing space is quickly filling up, there is still a lot of room in the blockchain platforms category, especially companies with security offerings such as NXM.
The company's software and hardware enable IoT devices to operate securely, and use distributed ledger and advanced cryptography to secure machine to machine communications and transactions at scale. Last month, they announced the NXM Autonomous Security platform, which is specifically focused on enabling IoT devices to manage their own security.
