Hyundai’s website states that it is still conducting research on implementing 5G V2X in their vehicles and expect that the subsequent information communication capacity will be “humongous”. In 2019, Hyundai collaborated with Korea Telecom (KT) to utilize 5G networks in helping implement traffic controls for autonomous vehicles.
