Winklevoss owns the Gemini crypto exchange, and had tried to launch a bitcoin ETF called the "Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust" back in 2017. Although that petition was turned down by the SEC, they retain a unique position in the Securities Tokenization sector because, unlike many of the other top patent holders, they already have issued patents. Many of their patents in the sector relate to exchange-traded products, or ETPs, holding digital assets.
