- 1. A quantum computing method for performing anyonic quantum computation, the method comprising:
arranging computational anyons in an array; situating entangled pairs of anyons between each pair of the computational anyons; and providing a braiding transformation of the computational anyons with at least one measurement.
- 11. A quantum computer, comprising:
an array of computational anyons; entangled pairs of anyons between each pair of the computational anyons; and a measurement apparatus that implements a braiding transformation with the computational anyons.
- 17. A quantum computing method, comprising:
with a classical processor, selecting a series of quantum gates associated with a selected computation; determining a braiding transformation based on the selected computation; and in a quantum computer, implementing the braiding transformation based on at least one measurement.
