April 17, 2019 - PATHION, a provider of intelligent energy solutions has agreed to purchase Ideal Power’s Power Conversion Systems business and Power Packet Switching Architecture (PPSA) technology for a combination of cash and shares. Dr. Lon Bell, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Power, says this deal allows Ideal Power to focus all resources and efforts on the commercialization of its proprietary B-TRAN™ technology. Another PPSA patent application published this week and that application is going to PATHION.
