According to a recently issued patent application, Peloton Interactive (Peloton) plans to enable several cryptocurrency functionalities, including payment for their subscription channels via cryptocurrency.
The application further supports generating, selling, trading, and administering cryptocurrency tokens. Users wishing to sell specific cryptocurrency tokens would be selling a portion of their subscription.
This may have been a factor in Peloton's IPO valuation, totaling around $8 billion.
