In 2019, financial services giant Visa launched the Fast Track program in the U.S. to allow blockchain and cryptocurrency companies to integrate easily into Visa's banking and payment systems. The program includes collaboration with other fintech infrastructure companies such as Stripe and Galileo to support smaller companies in their crypto development and scalability.
This week, Ternio has joined the Fast Track as the program's first company focused on enabling other cryptocurrencies to be used more widely. The company accomplishes this with a system that processes transactions completely in cryptocurrency and storing cryptocurrency on a credit/debit card rather than converting to fiat currency along the way, making the funds more accessible. Ternio has one patent application for distributing blockchain transactions across multiple servers and ledgers for greater efficiency and scalability. Visa has over eighty (80) patents and applications in cryptocurrencies. You can view these patent documents and more on the Magic Number® Cryptocurrency Patent Radian®.
