Symbiont, formerly known as Counterparty, founded in 2013 and renamed in 2015, is a NYC-based blockchain company. Symbiont is developing a blockchain platform for capital markets and providing solutions for mortgages, syndicated loans, index data distribution, private equity and crowdfunding, corporate debt, and asset digitization. It was announced 11/27/2018 that Symbiont and 9 other financial services and technology firms had launched the Association for Digital Asset Markets (ADAM) to establish a Code of Conduct for emerging digital asset markets.
