Users have it easy with features such as Amazon's "one-click" or the ability to save purchase information across the Internet, don't they? But "one-click" isn't available everywhere and keeping track of your entire purchase history across the entire Internet isn't the easiest thing to do.
In addition, the current form-filling shopping cart purchase models require a lot user information, ultimately reducing the number of conversions or transactions. Add to this the increased acceptance for cryptocurrency payments and you end up with an overbearing amount of information for an individual user to keep track of.
Monticello's solution is to introduce a new Application Programming Interface (API), operating between browsers and merchant sites, enabling the pre-filling in of fields. This process streamlines the online shopping experience by reducing the number of interactions a user needs to go from shopping to purchase, including cryptocurrency support. In addition, the API would support a universal "pay-now" type button, enabling payment conformity across the Internet. The result is a hassle-free shopping experience for cryptocurrency payments, as well as other fiat currencies.
