IBM has been developing fundamental blockchain technologies and various use cases. This week we see IBM providing blockchain solutions to facilitate scientific research and healthcare data exchange. Besides all the research and developments, IBM is developing partnerships with companies in different sectors and governments all over the globe for blockchain implementations. Most recently, it was reported that Seagate has been quietly working with IBM for the past two months on a blockchain-based computer hardware supply chain to fight counterfeiting problems which may even threaten national security.
