Panasonic does not have much market presence in Sleep Technology. However, it has been investing in keeping its patent portfolio competitive in certain sleep technology areas. Specifically, most of the patents and applications assigned to Panasonic are directed to light-based alarm clocks and related solutions. The only sign of consumer products Panasonic appears to have any interest in marketing comes through a 2017 prototype, Panasonic Sleepwise, which was developed in partnership with students from the Parsons School of Design in New York, NY.
