Seaweed ketchup packets go on trial. Over eight weeks, 10 London restaurants replaced approximately 40,000 plastic sauce sachets with the biodegradable Ooho! Seaweed-based alternatives as part of an initiative between Just Eat and Skipping Rocks Lab. Sunny Chhina, the first restaurant owner to trial the sauce sachets in his flagship Fat Pizza store this summer, says his customers “loved” the environmentally-friendly alternatives.
