Founded in 1946 and headquartered in Japan, Honda is primarily known as a manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment. Honda is both a data producer for intelligent automobile systems and a developer of infrastructures able to manage such data. The company is developing an artificial intelligence system with supervised machine learning based on image data. In 2018, Honda made an exclusive agreement to commit $2.75 billion towards with General Motors and its subsidiary Cruise to develop and produce a new kind of autonomous vehicle.
