Carestream, a medical imaging and healthcare IT company, announced on 3/7/2019 that it will sell its healthcare information systems (HCIS) business to Philips. The HCIS business offers imaging IT tools to hospitals, imaging centers, radiology services providers and specialty medical clinics. This acquisition complements Philips' expansion in the healthcare industry.
