Smurfit Kappa, a European corrugated packaging company, teamed up with the Wings for Aid Foundation to create packing for dropping emergency supplies. The packaging is 100% biodegradable and remains intact after dropping 100 meters. The packaging was tested by dropping a pack of 30 eggs from a plane. The next phase of testing will include dropping the packaging from a drone instead of a plane.
